Taco Bell's Gone Mild
As part of Taco Bell’s Tuesday Drops program, I created a collectible zine for the Poblano Cardigan—launching alongside the Steak & Poblano Rolled Quesadilla LTO—built around a singular idea: treat the poblano pepper like a full-blown cultural icon.
Gone Mild is an obsessive, analog artifact—photographed, scanned, worshipped, memed, misunderstood, and lovingly over-analyzed. The design embraces “ugly” fandom: shaky photocopies, flash-blown portraits, handwritten notes, and tactile grit that feels raw, immediate, and deeply personal.
By rejecting polish in favor of intentional roughness, the zine mirrors the behavior of a true stan—relentless, chaotic, and all-in. The result is a physical piece fans don’t just receive, but keep—extending the energy of Tuesday Drops beyond the moment and into something collectible.
