Rockstar Energy Photography Portfolio
In 2022, I led the creative direction for Rockstar Energy’s product portfolio campaigns, helping establish a bold, elevated look & feel for the brand’s new packaging across social, eCommerce, and POS. Working with our agency partners at The Motive Group and photographer duo The Vorhees, I developed a visual strategy built around four defining design themes: dramatic geometry, glossy reflections, angled lighting, and high-end refreshment.
The geometric angles in the set design and lighting are intentional fragments of the Rockstar star logo—each sharp edge, surface, and frame echoes its structure. The textures (glossy metals, mirrored surfaces, rich finishes) are chosen to symbolize the intensity and flavor layers of Rockstar’s product lines. I handled everything from ideation (mood boards, visual themes), sub-line concepting, set styling, lighting direction, to on-shoot art direction—making sure each product shines as a premium object and the shots feel purposeful, distinct, and impactful.
These ultra-premium assets weren’t just pretty pictures; they were built for performance. From hero product shots to lifestyle overlays, from social tiles to signage, every image had to work across formats and channels while staying on brand and visually memorable. This portfolio defines how Rockstar’s new packaging gets seen: high gloss, high impact, unmistakably Rockstar.
